With guidance from the WV Conference, Spruce Street assembled a task force (called the L3 Task Force——meaning Loving, Learning, Leading) to begin exploring ways to help our church grow. To help our church grow in our knowledge of where God is leading us. To help our church become more effective in reaching our community. And to help our church grow in our relationship to each other and to our Lord.
The L3 task force lovingly deliberated over several weeks to pen a prayer——called the Loving, Learning, Leading Prayer——that could serve as our church’s prayer as we begin this journey. A prayer that we would all be praying as we grow as disciples of Christ.

Our Loving, Learning, Leading Prayer
God, as you lead us on this journey, may we faithfully follow the pathway of love and kindness built on Jesus Christ, the solid rock. Open our hearts to love everyone always. Open our minds to slow down and focus on Your will.
Open our doors to welcome and share Christ's great commission, while making disciples of each of us. May we be lead by You, putting You first in our lives and in all our endeavors.
Amen.
