The Wayside Helpers Class of Spruce Street UMC which started about 1916 (First Methodist Protestant Church then) now meets every Sunday in the Wayside Helpers classroom next to the Overflow area, behind the piano. Faithfulness in Sunday worship, the desire to do good, and the spirit of cooperation have always been attributes of the Wayside Helpers Class in supporting SSUMC and the community.

The Adult Bible Study quarterly series has proved to be an excellent bible based quarterly study through the years. What better way to grow your Christianity than to study scripture and how it applies to our lives. The class is coeducational.

Teachers include: Bill Kennell, Dough Stanger, Kent Hastings, Pat Ryan, and Paul Hanko.
